Teaching & Learning
Teaching:
Madlain offers regular schooling in our workshop on Friday and Saturday mornings, two hours a day. Participation in the costs = 200 shekels per month for 2 hours a week. Equipment is not included.
Our teachings have the same contents as the Prince's Trust School of Traditional Arts (PTSTA) as taught at the Bethlehem Icon School until Spring 2019.
Learning:
In 2017, Madlain and Sr. Esther learned traditional Byzantine mosaic with Martin Earle, a leading British liturgical artist.
In the same year, Madlain, Marlena and Sr. Esther also learned manuscript illumination with Hanna Ward, an experienced iconographer and teacher.
